“Joshua turned back at that time and took Hazor, and struck its king with the sword; for Hazor was formerly the head of all those kingdoms. But as for the cities that stood on their mounds, Israel burned none of them, except Hazor only, which Joshua burned.” (Joshua 11:10 & 13 NKJV).
LESSON:
Joshua destroyed the stronghold of the enemy, Jabin. He destroyed the command centre of Israel’s adversary. Joshua led Israel to demolish “the head”. Hazor was the head of the whole kingdom that came against him, and against Israel. Once the head is down, all other parts would fall apart in a matter of time. When you face the enemy of your soul, never let his operation room stand. Destroy it! Never let his stronghold in your life stand; make sure you utterly tear it down. Once you get it down, his influence on all other parts of your life would weaken in no time.
PRAYER:
Heavenly Father, let every evil fortress, and meeting place, from which evil schemes are plotted against me, by the kingdom of darkness, receive judgment of your holy fire now, in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. Amen!!
