Consolidating Victory: Deal with “all”, never leave “some” for posterity!

dont-pass-to-posterity

“None of the Anakim were left in the land of the children of Israel; they remained only in Gaza, in Gath, and in Ashdod.” (Joshua 11:22 NKJV).

LESSON:

Joshua destroyed the Anakims that were in the land of the children of Israel. However, he didn’t press on the deal with the Anakims (giants) that were in the nearby Philistine cities of Gaza, Gath and Ashdod. Decades on, Goliath, and his other four brothers of the seed of the Anakims (giants) appeared on the scene to harass Israel, and to disturb the peace they enjoyed on their Promised Land (1 Samuel 17:4; 2 Samuel 21:16-22).

What you fail to deal with, and completely eliminate, in the day of your power and might, would rise to afflict your children after your decease. Never leave battles you can effectively handle today to posterity. Deal with them now, and save future generations from needless problems and afflictions.

PRAYER:

Heavenly Father, I ask for your grace, strength, and wisdom to deal with every challenge and battle that stands my way. Lord, let posterity inherit absolute peace from the victories you would give me, in the name of Jesus. Amen!!
