He Cares for You!

He cares for You“Casting all your care upon Him, for He cares for you.” [1 Peter 5:7]

The LORD cares for his children. Amidst fears of the unknown, know that He cares for your welfare. He is the great Provider. He never leaves or forsakes His children. He has said:

I will never leave nor forsake you. [Hebrews 13:5]

That’s His Promise, and He always keeps His Word. Jehovah longs to have His children deeply trusting and relying on Him. No one by thought can add a cubit to his or her stature [Matthew 6:27]. Do not be anxious for anything; but with prayer and supplication, let your request be known to Jehovah, your Heavenly Father. Thrust your cares on Him.

However, the promise of His provision requires absolute Obedience from His children. Obedience precedes Jehovah’s provision!

When asked to sacrifice his beloved son, Abraham wholly followed that command. He never thought or argued about that order from the Almighty God but obey it whole-heartedly with the belief that God, who provided him with the child in his old age, could offer him a replacement. Abraham cast that care of losing Isaac, his beloved son, upon the LORD in obedience to his command. Subsequently, on the Mount of the LORD, he saw His divine provision. The LORD revealed Himself to him as “JEHOVAH JIREH”, which meant “LORD OUR PROVIDER.”

Obedience is key to His Provision. Truly, if you obey the voice of the LORD your God, you will experience His provision in your life. He greatly cares for you. But He requires unquestionable obedience from you!
